Story Overview
Michelle was a talented young dancer when she moved to Los Angeles to live out her dream as a staff member for the world renown Millennium Dance Complex, but a chance encounter with Noah Westbrook, the city's infamous playboy, would prove to be the pivotal, life changing event that she couldn't take back, even if she wanted to.
Captivated by his good looks and charm, Michelle had no reservations when it came to accepting his playful advances, and it was only a matter of time until the two became a couple. A feat that the majority of girls would drop their jaws over, if they only knew, but given the fact that Noah had a reputation, and a brief history with a co-worker of Michelle's, they jointly decided it was for the best to keep their relationship under wraps.
As their relationship continued to develop, Michelle loved the attention and protective nature of Noah. But as time progressed, the same characteristics she once loved, soon began to smother her and control her every move. As Michelle's frienship with fellow co-worker Brandon continued to grow, Noah became increasingly annoyed and irritated at what he perceived as an invasion into his territory. Despite Noah's request to keep her distance from Brandon, Michelle refused to believe that Brandon wanted anything more than a frienship with her, and that mistake would eventually end up costing them both.
Not long after their relationship started to show signs of weakness, Noah's production company was hired to oversee a short film-based music video for Ryan Lawson, a project Michelle was already signed onto as a principal dancer, and Noah was delighted. Now he would be able to monitor her involvement with Brandon without needing an excuse to be near her.
When production finally began for the short film, Michelle found herself unexpectedly on the receiving end of Ryan's flirtatious charm. With things between her and Noah rockier than ever, and Ryan's affectionate nature catching her by surprise, Michelle began to develop feelings for him and believed he felt the same. What she didn't know was that Ryan's advances were simply part of a plan for revenge against Noah. He never truly forgave him for having an affair with his then girlfriend Jade and he finally wanted to let Noah know exactly how it felt to be betrayed by someone you considered a friend. Unfortunately when Ryan puts his plan into effect, things happen between the two and Ryan realizes that his plans are taking a backseat to feelings he is having for her. Was she willing to risk everything, even her safety, to give love another chance? And more importantly, to what extent would Noah go to prevent it from happening?
Those questions would soon get answered one fateful night when Michelle finds herself locked into yet another situation with Noah and no positive outcome in sight. Desperately fighting to save his relationship, Noah promised to turn his life around, and once again be the guy she feel in love with. Unfortunately, his attempts at controlling his addictions and anger fall short, and anyone who had close ties to Michelle were immeadiately marked for destruction. Now caught between her possible salvation and the undeniable love of her life, Michelle continued to watch her life spin drastically out of control, painfully breaking the connection she shared with Noah one devestating blow at a time.
Struggling with his own realization that his world was crumbling around him, Noah is forced to turn to Chris, an old friend eager to supply him with more than just advice to help him through the difficult time in his life. Unfortunately after enlisting his help in getting Michelle back in life, Noah's plan goes awry, and he tries to take out his frustration out on Chris. Not known for being the one on the receiving end of such abuse, the tables are quickly turned and Noah realized that all he did was hand Michelle over to the one person who could hurt her more than him. Now he was the one living a nightmare.
With the lives of everyone involved now in complete turmoil, and Chris left calling all the shots, Michelle is left desperately searching for...something to believe in.
